you were one of the crew of a local tv station you mostly lingered backstage making sure things were set up properly lights were working hosts were ready stuff like that well the tv mall channel or what you liked to call it "the nerd shop" was set to air live you did your rounds making sure everything was set before you gave the green light to the rest of the crew then scottie sat in his chair adjusted the collar of his shirt made sure his hair looked nice before putting on his usual little smile then the lights turned on and the cameras started rolling

"our first item folks is this special edition spider-man comic featuring the origins of the amazing spider-man!...and signed by the legendary stan the man lee!"

he went on about the price of the comic and how you couldn't get it anywhere else like he always does before going on about more spider-man comics that are available for purchase

"okay folks!..i just received signal from cody that they have fixed the problem with the phones! so lets take a call from one of you lucky folks who have taken advantage of our incredible offers!"

not long after he said that the phone started ringing and it turns out it was josh levy...the same kid that calls...again...and again and again...well scottie was happy to speak with him anyway as long as he was making money i guess

scottie: "oh josh!....didnt i speak with you lats months show?" josh: "sure did scottie...i never miss a show i even have em all on tape" scottie: "well what did you purchase josh?"

josh then proceeded to list the purchases he made before bringing up the errors in scotties advertising for example when he left out spider-mans co creator steve ditko and the mispronunciation of a few other names and confusing captain marvel with shazam going on about how if scottie was an actual expert he would know this stuff scottie shifted awkwardly in his seat and before josh could go any further scottie cut him off

scottie: "well josh we do have to move on and im sure you got school tomorrow so...you should get some sleep....heh" josh: "thats the thing scottie this is my school thats why i find it a little irritating when you continually pronounce peoples names wrong and get your facts wrong its unprofessional and an insult to the creators whose work you sell aswell as the fans that buy it i mean is it so difficult to do a little research?" scottie: "cory can we...cut it...please?"

after cory finally got the phone to cut out scottie went back to being his cheerful self showing off a little replica of the bottled city of kandor he happily went on about how super girl was supermans sister and she was from there or something but then suddenly josh came back

josh: "now see thats exactly what im talking about!"

the sound of josh's voice followed by his mocking caused scottie to be jumpscared and drop the bottled city the peices shattering all over his desk and the floor after a bit of back and forth between the two josh added his friend bill to the call mocking scottie even more about his lack of research suddenly scottie snapped he shouted about how he actualy had a life unlike those losers its like he went crazy but before it could escalate further the camera crew cut to the teddy bear show for the first few seconds it was going smooth until scottie appeared with a knife shoving the teddy show host aside before staring into the camera with a crazed look in his eyes

scottie: "DONT YOU CUT ME OFF YOU SON OF A BITCH....LISTEN TO ME ALL OF YOU IVE DONE FIFTEEN OF THESE GODAMN SHOWS AND I TELL MYSELF ITS OKAY BECAUSE YOU GUYS DESERVE TO GET RIPPED OFF...I HATE IT HERE I CRY MYSELF TO SLEEP AFTER EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE I EVEN HAVE TO DRINK BEFORE THESE"

scottie had tears streaming down his face but before he could say anymore security dragged him out as he begged to not be cut off the camera crew shut off and you watched as the security threw him outside he sat on the stairs shaking poor guy just looked so....tired...so done with everything..
