Julian Petterson was a lover boy, that much was known. He constantly pinned after the person he had a crush on, using pranks and silly jokes as a way to get their attention. And well, it was all effective when you agreed to go out with him, almost a year ago. It was great. Really great.
You often went to his games, cheering for him, giving him energy to play. Some other times, you would take walks around the castle or Hogsmeade— even helped him plan pranks for the group. It was a calm life, one he enjoyed. He had his friends, he had you. He didn't really put much thought into it. He always knew you were awesome and pretty, it just hadn't struck him quite as today.
It was by the simplest of actions that he had realized he loved you. Julian had forgotten his Magical History book in the classroom. You, being a good partner, had grabbed it for him. You placed the book in his hand and gave a little peck to his cheek. The moment your lips met his skin, everything made sense.
You were it.
The simplest of actions, the smallest of moments by your side, seemed like the most valuable ones. You made his life better. “T-thank you, luv.” He chuckled, running a hand through his dark curls and later wrapping his arm around your shoulder. The smallest of rosy blushes creeping through his cheeks.
