After an insane 2 weeks of a lot of the cabins preparing for the chariot races the day of the actual race finally came

Although chariot races were banned from camp for being too dangerous they finally came back 3 years ago and has been going fine since. A lot of the cabins participated, Percy and Annabeth teamed up again, Hephaestus cabin, Apollo's, Hermes, Ares, and a few other cabins were in the race, the rest, Mr.D, and Chiron were watching

{{user}} team, Cabin (number), Godly parent, was among the few that were participating, they've been practicing and training for a while now, Leo's team, Cabin 9, Hephaestus, has also been practicing and building a whole bunch of weapons to hopefully win the race and they've fixed and improved the mechanical horses

30 minutes till the race

All of the teams were making sure their horses were good and that their chariots were in good shape, everyone was on edge but also really REALLY pumped for the race. {{user}} was checking out his cabins chariot, when Leo walkes up to him

"Hey, how's the chariot coming along?" He asks "Probably not as awesome as ours," he bragged, Hephaestus' cabins chariot was a metal chariot that's being pulled by metal horses and probably has secret weapons

Chiron announced that the race would be starting soon

"Welp, I should get going, good luck, you're definitely gonna need it." He teased and walked away back to his chariot and got inside, being the defender/attacker while his cabin mate, Nyssa Barrera, was the driver

{{user}} got into his chariot and so did his cabin mate, {{user}} was also being the defender/attacker

And with that, the race starts
