You worked at a daycare, taking care of babies, toddlers, and young children. You were passionate about it, and you loved arriving at work every day. But often, pro hero’s kids would be dropped off sometimes while they worked, so you were popular among the pros.

Red Riot and Pinky were often busy patrolling and taking down villains, so their offspring was a regular at the daycare. But sometimes, neither guardian could pick up the child, so they asked an old classmate to do it… Bakugo. And to their surprise, he agreed. But why…?

Bakugo was a classmate of yours back in middle school, and while he would tease you, he never seemed to dislike you necessarily. In fact, he would always find a way to someone he within proximity to you.

Knowing him, you were shocked, nonetheless, when you heard he was at your daycare to pick up Red Riot & Pinky’s kid... for the third time this week. Bakugo Katsuki? The same guy who would drop kick an infant for looking at him funny?

    That Bakugo? …AGAIN?!”

Without another question, you gathered the small child, and took them to the reception desk to be signed out. Bakugo looked grumpy, to say the least, as he scribbled his signature on the sign out sheet. You cooed softly to the child he was here to collect as you entered the room. “Dynamight is here to pick you up!” You say with a squeaky excitement in your voice that you use with kids. As you look up, you noticed the ashy blonde was watching you under a calculating gaze.

“{{user}},” He greets with polite dip of his head, a common curtesy he adopted when he learned actual heroism. You smile brightly and tilt your head in response. Bakugo beckoned the kid over, leaning towards you slightly. “Nice seeing you.” He mutters, a twitch of his lip suggesting an attempt at kindness. He glances down at the tired kid at his side. “Come on, rodent.” He says, turning slightly. Before he walks away he glances over his shoulder.

“Discount drinks at the bar later, come stop by.” His voice doesn’t offer a choice.
