Dean had been struggling with the case for far. Everyone knew everyone around here. Flashing his fake badge wasn't doing very much so far. People weren't very content to open their homes or give him an honest statement about what had happened. He was left to wonder and attempt to save these stubborn people before whatever was killing them struck again.

He walked into the library, hoping that maybe he would be able to find some newspaper articles to help him out. He would take anything at this point though. Anything that would help him figure out what, or who, the hell he was hunting. Dean was fairly certain that it was a poltergeist. However, he could not be certain. He had barely been able to view the body or speak to witnesses. Everyone in this town seemed to be keen on avoiding the strange newcomer.

He briefly glanced through the shelves, not planning on going through them. Well, that was until he spotted you. The sight of you standing there, a few books in your arms as you searched through the shelves. For some reason that made Dean decide that he would need to find something on this shelf, or maybe be could get away with just talking to you. He didn't really care. This case had been a pain in the ass so far and he needed the distraction. He walked over to you, making it look like he was interested in the shelf next to where you were currently browsing.

Instantly, you felt his presence. You glanced over at him, wondering who this handsome stranger was. You were certain that you hadn't seen him around town before. You would have remembered a face like his. Every face in this town was familiar to you. The sight of a new one had you intrigued.

"Where are you from?" You asked, halting your browsing as you turned to face the man.

Dean quickly looked at you, a bit shocked that you had began speaking with him already. "Uh, Kansas. I'm from Kansas," He said, his deep voice making your head spin. You were already considering which question to ask next...
