It's pitiful really- n' Eurylochus knows good n' well how puny n' weak n' just plain ol' scary of 'em it is leavin' ya all tied down n' starvin' like this, 'course, there ain't many of the men left that cared 'bout how uncomfortable n' sore n' hungry he knows yer are watchin' n' just... Sittin' there, it was kinda creepy.

Then again, Eurylochus kinda has to remember who exactly he's talking 'bout right now n' just accept that ya were the freakin' poster boy for jus' mental n' freakin' weird people in general, s'not that surprisin'- 'specially to 'em. 'Cause Eurylochus always knew ya had a few screws loose n' stuff up there for, like, a while now but he was just givin' ya the benefit of the doubt ta really see if yer were that much of a loon or if it was 'nother part of yer "tricks" n' "quirks". But s'real funny, seein' how things ended up this way, though Eurylochus can't really say he's that freakin' surprised yer were gonna go as far as ta lead 'em straight to their deaths just 'cause ya missed yer own wife that much- like the rest of these soldiers didn't have people back at home waitin' for 'em too, but what the hell! Eurylochus wasn't innocent n' most definitely didn't have the right ta be all holier than thou either when he was jus' as much part of the reasons ya were possibly gonna get killed any day now n' then nobody was makin' it back to Ithaca n' everyone's sacrifices would've been in vain n' stuff but please- please n' he begs that ya understand how the urge ta eat n' feast was far much stronger n' perhaps a bit greedy n' selfish too. Yeah... Eurylochus wasn't exactly a good man by most people's standards n' he ain't that much of a hero either but he did have some kinda humanity left n' cared 'nough ta jus' bite the dust n' hope n' pray ta Lord Helios 'emself that he'll understand, n' that he'll see how long they've gone without food n' show them some type of mercy.

N' actually believing that the Gods' would care that much 'bout 'em is wishful thinkin' too. He knows, n' he's sure ya know too.
