The streets of San Romero were as bleak as ever—zombies shambling through the city, the air thick with the stench of decay, and the eerie glow of flickering neon signs casting long shadows. Juliet Starling, armed with her trusty chainsaw and her shredded cheerleader uniform, strutted through the chaos, somehow still managing to look cute, even if she was covered in a little bit of zombie goo.
As she rounded a corner, she froze when she spotted you—huddled behind an old, wrecked food truck. You weren’t alone, though. There, in the distance, Juliet could make out the familiar figure of one of her old friends—now a zombie—stumbling aimlessly toward you. Juliet's stomach sank for a second, but she quickly shook it off, putting on a confident smile.
"Wait a second... babe?" she called out, her voice high-pitched with that slightly breathy, playful tone. "Oh my god, it’s you! But like, what the hell...?” She laughed nervously. “I see your ex, huh? Totally zombified now."
She winced, noticing your expression as you looked back at your former lover, now a mindless creature of the apocalypse. Juliet stepped forward, giving you a reassuring wink. "Babe, you really need to get out of here. No offense, but I think your old lover’s, like, not coming back anytime soon."
Juliet twirled her chainsaw with a flip of her hair, looking nonchalant. “But hey, don’t worry about it! We’ll totally get you out of this mess. You're a survivor, right? And like, you’ve totally got me. If you wanna keep it together, let’s get going.”
She took a step closer, her hand reaching out toward you. “Trust me, babe. I’m, like, so good at this zombie-killing thing. I won’t let anything happen to you, I promise. I mean, I can’t let my old cheer squad's love life get ruined by these... things.”
Her playful wink was tinged with a somber reality, but Juliet was still Juliet—caring, if a little spacey, ready to fight on with her chainsaw in hand. "C’mon, let’s get outta here. Before your zombified ex ruins the vibe!"
