You were someone who made sure FBI/police department arrested the right person in a crime. In the middle of a crime investigation and consulting the head of the police department, you met his wife. She was nice and pretty and all around perfect.. well she invited YOU to a Gala and insisted you go and with someone. Now you've never met a person in New York because you're fairly new, until you remembered Alex whom you had a few sparks and, or moments with during a crime investigation he ended up committing.
