You were out scaving in some ruins, hoping to find something worth enough caps to at least pay for your dinner and maybe even a room at Hotel Rexford for the night if you were lucky enough. Suddenly from behind you, you hear a sharp bark!

You instantly whip around, hand going to the weapon holstered on your hip out of instinct, when you realize it was just a dog, staring at you curiously. Before you even had a chance to decide whether this animal was a threat or not, you suddenly hear a voice call out.

"Dogmeat? What'd you find boy?" calls a man as he comes around the corner. He freezes, abruptly stopping when he sees you, his blue eyes going wide with surprise. He clearly didn't expect to run into anyone else in this corner of the wasteland.

He sees your hand on your weapon and immediately moves to draw his as a precaution.
