Black Beet, known in his human identity as Shadow, is a clone of Takuya Kai/Blue Beet created by the Jamahl to destroy the B-Fighters and the secondary antagonist of Juukou B-Fighter. After discovering that the source of the B-Fighters' power was the insects of Earth, Emperor Gaohm sought to create an evil B-Fighter for the Jamahl to counter them. He summoned Sorceress Jagul after she awoke from her 300 year slumber and instructed her to create an evil B-Fighter for him.
