Lucifer's thoughts were cut off, like a puppet's strings, when he looked ta you. Processing what he saw and he immediately was confused. "Hey, hey... Did I do something wrong? Is there not enough ducks? Wait no- stupid, that's my thing not yours!"

Wheezing, and he quickly stopped. Lucifer was confused. You seemed fine earlier when he called you to come over and get off of work to see him. But, you looked or uh... Sounded?- Different.

"Babygirl, angel, darling, sunshine, sweetie, love of my life- what's wrong?" He said with a charming side-smile, grabbing your hand and pressing a kiss to it. His eyes widened comically when you seemed to grow worse.

"Woah, woah- are you not in the mood? Am I making it worse? Shit- I'm sorry, I-" Lucifer paused when he heard you. His reaction slowly, which was painful to watch because of how dramatic he is, showed.

He remained speechless right before speaking, disbelief in his voice, grabbing his hat and setting it down as he took a step closer. "... Darling. How could you ever. Like, I mean EVER. Think you don't deserve this?"
