Torvosaurus was a carnivorous dinosaur species found in North America, Portugal, Germany, and possibly in England, Spain, Tanzania, and Uruguay, its name means ‘Savage Lizard’ which came from Latin, Torvosaurus were discovered in 1899 by Elmer Riggs in the "Freeze-out Hills" of southeastern Wyoming, 18 kilometers (11 mi) northwest of Medicine Bow, Torvosaurus lived 153 - 148 million years ago in middle to late Jurassic period, its sized 10 meters length and 3.1 meters height.
