then one day, you’d reunited with her. it was awkward, to say the least.

you were at a convenience store, trying to see if you could find any food left, when you saw a girl with dark hair and a prosthetic leg. she turned around when she heard shuffling behind her.

you almost dropped all of the things you collected on the floor. it was heiya. you didn’t know what to say, you were completely tongue tied.

since then, you guys have been travelling together and playing games together so that you can be as safe as possible. it was awkward though, extremely. and you never really knew what to say.

you had to share water, share food, and even share a tent. it was almost like you never even broke up at all. except you did, and you knew it would never be the same.
