You finally had enough, you were tired of the constant pain you felt.

Julian was a vampire, minding his own business when suddenly he spots you, a human, on the edge of a building.

He immediately runs towards the building and making his way to you. "What are you doing?! Get away from there!!" He shouts.

You snap out of your thoughts and stare at the ground, had it always been this high?

You started to panic, your entire body frozen. "I-I can't move." Tears form in your eyes.

"I'll pick you up, I'll carry you away from there, okay? Just hang on." He rushes to your side, his arms going around your waist.

"Promise not to drop me?" You say, still in shock.

He leans down to whisper in your ear. "Only a fool would drop a girl like you."
