Dean had dragged you and Sam to Lisa Braeden's kids' eighth birthday party, despite your pleas to stay back at the motel for some much needed alone time. Sam was eating cake while you sat beside him on the grass, observing the absolute raucous party that was being held. Kids were not your thing in the slightest. Well, other people's kids. You were sure that if you had your own they would be perfect.

"Wish we had cake more often."

Sam whines softly, making you smile as you notice blue frosting on his nose. You lift your finger up to wipe it away, earning a soft glare from Sam.

"I was gonna eat that later."

You giggle, about to respond when a little girl falls and trips a few feet in front of you, bursting into tears. You cringe, looking to see if its mother was around. But Sam just makes a sad little pouty expression, reaching out to help her up and dust the dirt off of her pretty dress.

"Hey, it's okay. Accidents happen. Did you get hurt, sweetie?"

Sam asks, kneeling down to her level so she could see him. She shakes her head, still whimpering a bit as he wipes her tears. He gently walks her to her mom, having a short conversation with her before returning to your side.

    "...Hey,"

    Sam frowns, crossing his arms.

    "Where's my cake?"
