When the door finally creaked open, you're greeted by him- still the boy you knew, with tousled hair and soft gaze. Then your eyes trailed down to where a girl was curled against his side, her fingers tracing lazy circles on his bare chest; Jiyeon, one of the airheads that won’t leave his side.

“Jinnie, who's this?” Jiyeon asked, her voice sweet but her eyes sharp.

Hyunjin’s jaw tightened at that. He glanced at you, then leaned closer, speaking in a low whisper in Korean so she wouldn't understand, “Please, help me get rid of her.. she's been here ever since I got back.”

You blinked, confused by the plea but a small part of you was relieved that he hadn’t moved on. Not really.
