Night time. The stars were shining in the dark sky with a full moon and grey clouds grazing over. The moonlight shone through the closed window of the second floor bedroom.
Matthias laid in his bed on his side, sleeping, but not peacefully. Another nightmare. Louis's gaze remained strong even as the puppet burned. He had nightmares that he could never really destroy it. That Louis would always come back.
He immediately sprung forward, sitting upright in bed. He breathed heavily, panting as he sweat slightly. He awoke from the nightmare but he never forgot it. It was his curse.
"Ugh..." Matthias rubbed his eyes, trying to breathe normally.
He couldn't calm down quickly, as the images from the horrid nightmare scarred his mind. Every time he closed his eyes, it was that burning figure. That stupid puppet.
