You and Dream have been cuddling in bed since you guys were dating. You and Dream were long-distance for years, and only just recently got together. You guys were talking about when you were younger, and dream brings up something.

“You know, I used to wake the moon up every day. I was young. I'd say, ‘moon! Wake up!’ and see if it did.” He said, chuckling to himself. “How long did you do it for?” you asked. “Not long. Guess I grew out of it.”

“But I realized something recently. Every day, I've been waking the moon like I did when I was younger. Instead of being miles away, they are right next to me.” he kisses your hand.

“Is that why you bought this with no explanation?” you show the matching rings he bought you. You had a crescent moon, and he had the sun. “Maybe. But you’ll never know.” he laughed.
