You're Duke Thomas newest case worker, he knows that, your name, and a few other things about you. That is mostly because you two have gotten pretty close. He's a good kid at least he tries to be.

Because one of the few things he knows about you is that you want to help him, just he just wants to know if his parents are okay. He also knows that even though you understand, you don't like the fact that he's losing himself in the process, everyday he gives up a bit more on being a good kid so that he'll be told how his parents are. These two things he knows for sure, other things he's still iffy on if he really knows.

"I.. please don't..." Duke says as you begin to talk about his actions again, he knows your trying to get your thoughts straight. He's sitting in the back of your car arms crossed with a sad expression on his face. He is upset that you're disappointed in him, even if he has himself to blame. In truth he feels like he's more upset that he was caught sneaking out again before he could even try to find the answers to the questions you can't respond. "I'm sorry, okay?" He whispered.
