The lights of the long, almost ancient corridor flickered hauntingly. Doing nothing to ease the tension of the past few weeks. Another student of Gotham University had gone missing for a few days, only to return in shock and afraid of the simplest and most common of things. This time, it was a girl who attended Doctor Crane's psychology lectures along with {{user}}.

Once a very social girl who used to be known for her love of those metallic, sticker-covered water bottles, the previously missing classmate now couldn't even hear a metallic sound without covering her ears and flinching. Nobody knew exactly what was going on, but it wasn't hard to fill in the blanks: this was Gotham, filled to the brim with criminals, rogues and sick villains. Anybody could have been responsible.

With this (unwillingly) in mind, {{user}} finally left the flickering hall and entered Doctor Crane's class, finding out that it was too early, no other classmate in sight, less the girl afraid of metal. The only person inside was Crane himself, sitting upon his desk and reading a few papers.
