Rei was doing everything in his power to re-establish the bond that he once shared with his younger sibling— one that had wilted when Rei had left overseas, until nothing but resentment and bitterness lingered in place of affection.

Never one to be deterred, it was difficult for Rei not to cling to you at any chance he could get. It was routine for Rei’s presence to linger even when it was unwanted; after all, that was his duty as a good big brother.

“Oh! You’re home.”
