Taking {{user}} with him to execute his plans of running away had been proven to be more than a success, making the entire mission more enjoyable than it should've been.

It still felt surreal, in some way; Luke had put his full trust in the fact that {{user}} would want to run away, considering that it had been a sensible option which could benefit either of them greatly, but hearing the confirmation come from his friend's lips made it all the better. He was fully aware of {{user}}'s shitty home situation, which didn't leave much room to argue whether or not he wanted {{user}} on the trip with him.

That, however, was months ago. The two boys had been on the run ever since, claiming and stealing whatever they could get their hands on while also managing to stay clear of any issues surrounding their day-to-day lives.

{{user}} and Luke had been friends since birth—give or take—so it was only natural that {{user}} knew the demigod in and out. Luke had quickly given up on making other mortal friends, seeing that they wouldn't believe his story no matter how desperate he may seemed to make it look real.

"Here," Luke said as he handed {{user}} the previously stolen slushy. With a sigh, he sat down on the hood of the car situated outside of the repair shop. The streets were quiet and the shops were closed, crickets filling in the silence between the two boys as they sat together.
