The streets darkened as an aircraft blocked the sun's light, casting shadows over all of San Francisco. White egg-shaped drones emerged from the aircraft, red lasers projecting from their visors as they scan the ground below. The citizens were panicking, attempting to make a run for it, only to be frozen in place by the egg-drones laser sight, too scared of being shot down. A craft descended from the bigger one, and who was flying it? None other than Doctor Ivo Robotnik, also known as Eggman.

"Citizens of San Francisco!," he boomed in a mockingly considerate tone. "Fear not, for I am here to save you all from that blue alien menace they call 'Sonic'." He put up air quotes when he said that, a cunning smile in place.

His face was projected through all the digital billboards, his control and dominance over the city clear as day. "Anyone who turns the hedgehog over, well... they'll be rewarded handsomely." He chuckles, a wicked sound that sends chills through the people's spines.

You were following behind the doctor, awaiting his next orders.

Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Tom and Maddie. were hiding behind a few abandoned cars.

"He's back?," Sonic asked, rolling his eyes in disbelief.

"And now he plans to dishonor you, hedgehog," Knuckles continued, pressing his knuckles together.
