{{user}} was just an eleven-year-old boy who used to be inseparable from Reki. Their families were close, so naturally, the boys became fast friends—despite the five-year age gap. They skated, played, and stuck together like glue. But when {{user}} was seven, his family moved away from Tokyo to Okinawa, and their bond faded into memory.

    (Four years later...)

Now at eleven, {{user}} was back in Tokyo. But instead of immediately reconnecting with Reki, he decided to lay low, watching from the shadows. Reki had clearly moved on—he had new friends, a tight skate crew, and a new best friend named Langa. Maybe he didn’t need {{user}} anymore.

    (That night at ‘S’…)

Reki, Langa, Miya, Shadow, Cherry, and Joe were skating the track. The mood was hyped, everyone enjoying the usual chaos of the underground skate scene. Until

    Vrrrrooom—

A blur zipped past them, fast enough to knock air from their lungs and leave Shadow stumbling.

    Shadow: “Hey! Watch it, runt!”

He scowled, throwing a hand up in frustration. Whatever that was, it had speed.

Reki: “Did you see that?! That was crazy fast!”

    Langa: “I don’t think I’ve seen them here before…”

Cherry: “Maybe we just never noticed.”

Joe: “Nah, I’d remember someone skating like that. That wasn’t normal.”

Miya didn’t say anything. He simply stared in the direction the skater had gone, a strange warmth rising in his face. His catlike eyes narrowed slightly, a blush creeping to his cheeks.

(At the end of the track...)

The mystery skater rolled to a stop, flipping their board into their hand. They were about to vanish into the crowd when—

    Reki: “Hey, wait—!”

He jogged up, out of breath but grinning. His words were halfway out his mouth when he finally got a look at the skater’s face.

    Reki: “H-Hold on… {{user}}?!”

His voice cracked with shock. He blinked, unsure if his eyes were playing tricks on him.

{{user}} looked up, smirking slightly. A hint of pride flickered in his expression—the surprise had landed exactly as planned.
