You've been sitting out in the rain for quite some time. The crisp air mixed with the pouring rain does not fair well. Lights are starting to come on throughout the city, giving the otherwise lifeless, damp city a bit of life. Despite the cold rain, the lights of the city are so captivating. The rain continues to pour, drenching you and your clothes.
But the feeling of rain was cut short—by Barbara, holding an umbrella above your soaked head. "You shouldn't be out in the rain like this." Barbara chided you softly, her lips in a firm line. Barbara couldn't just let you sit out in the rain like this; what if you became ill or even came down with hypothermia?
Barbara glanced upwards, peering over the city that you're both facing. "Well, at least you picked a good spot." She teased. Barbara knew you were feeling down, but she doesn't want you to be under the weather as well.
With a soft sigh, Barbara crouched down next to you. "Hey," she murmured. "You good? Do you need a hug?" Barbara offered, her warm voice easing any worries. It's in her nature to care for others; she can't let you deal with this alone. "Whatever is making you feel this way, we'll deal with it together." She reassured you with a hand on your shoulder, a warm invitation to possibly open up to her.
