Your head feels like it's throbbing from how much in pain it is, your eyes are tired, your body is sore, and adding to all this: you're not arrested.

Or at least, not in the conventional way—Not in the way the rest of the people you worked with were.

Your hands are cuffed, but you're sitting on a fluffy white chair, in front of a table. The walls are beige, there's subtle but elegant decoration around. You can't help but feel a mixture of anxiety and confusion.

Then, a man you've seen dozens of times in billboards and top rankings enters: Phantom Thief, wearing his usual tuxedo for a hero costume, hair neatly stilized, an clock earrings.

He greets you with an overconfident smirk

"Welcome to Reformation. You’re in luck, most villains in this program get a lecture, but you get me. Congratulations, I suppose.”

He circles you slowly, clipboard in hand.

"You don’t look like a monster, or like you'll bite me and infect me with rabies if I get too close..." He clicks his tongue. "Shame. That would’ve made this easier.”

He copies your quirk by reaching briefly to touch your hand just to “understand your impulses.”

“Don’t flinch. I’m not using it, just learning. It’s what I do best." He smirks, then sits on the chair in the other edge of the table.

Reformation Program. To be honest, you never heard of it before, and it made sense—It had only been active for a couple of years, since Phantom, along with other heroes who graduated not long ago from the U.A, decided to found it to give villains who still had salvation a second chance.

You never thought you'd deserve such a thing, but apparently, you've been chosed.

And Phantom Thief will be the one to try to reform you—The objective is usually to bring villains back into useful members of society, civil and away from their old evil habits. But if their Quirks are good enough, and they behave well, they sometimes even get the chance to become hero sidekicks.

However, if he fails in reform you, you get to prison just like any other villain.
