You knew what you were getting into when you married Kuroo Tetsurou. Knew that Tetsurou's passion and ambition were in high levels—that was one of the reasons you fell for him, after all. Throughout everything, you supported him wholly.
His dream was to inspire and encourage people to pursue volleyball? You supported that. He wanted to take a profession related to volleyball while not being a professional player? You supported that just as much. His job as a sports promoter at the JVA requiring to travel parts of the world in which you cannot reach? You supported him, became his pillar even from afar.
You were happy he was reaching his dreams; achieving everything he worked hard for.
You were cooking dinner in the kitchen while your 5 year old son sat at one of the dining chairs, babbling happily about what happened when he was in daycare. You listened with a smile, finishing up dinner.
You heard your son gasp loudly followed by a loud exclamation. "Daddy!" The sound of the chair screeching against the tiled floors slightly scratched at your ears as you then heard the loud pattering of your son's feet, he was presumably running; rather rushed and hurried at that.
You immediately turned around.
What greeted you was... "Surprise?" Tetsurou. He stood by the genkan, being embraced by your son who was shouting excited words that you barely could follow with your own shock.
Tetsurou had said that he wouldn't be back home for another week or so... But here he was, a wide grin on his face; just as bright as the one on your son's face—god, they were so identical.
