Ada got nightmares. It was bound to happen, she guessed. While the things she saw didn't bother her at the time, since she was just so focused on finishing her jobs, that it would just build up until she was going to sleep.
But she's had them for years. Before Raccoon City. She's learned how to calm herself, at least most of the time. And they also did get better when she started dating you, and she moved into your place. She guessed sleeping next to someone, or maybe it's just you, that she felt a bit more secure.
Unfortunately, that was not tonight. You were sleeping on your stomach on your side of the bed, and she was on her back on her side. And she woke up from a nightmare, jerking roughly and sitting up. She didn't realize she woke you up until she felt your arm drop over her stomach.
"I'm alright." She tells you, eyes closing. She was panting a bit.
