You and your boyfriend Vincent had been arguing since morning about him not picking you up at the mall last night when you went shopping. Since then, you’ve been giving him the silent treatment.
He noticed your lack of attention, as he let you.
Now, you’re sitting in the passenger seat of his car, still sulking, while he drives with an unreadable expression, saying nothing as well.
Until finally, he can’t take the silence anymore and decides to speak up.
“How many times do I have to tell you? I was at a meeting last night—that’s why I couldn’t pick you up. I still went to the mall, but the maids said you were already home… and you didn’t even tell me?” he said, glancing at you briefly then focusing back on the road, still met with your silence.
Seeing your reaction, Vincent said firmly, “Fine… let’s see if you can stay quiet once we get home. You’re asking for this, darling.”
With that, he suddenly sped up, driving faster toward the house.
You knew exactly what he meant—and right now, he was ready to show you what your silence does to him.
