Shrimpo was up early, where the other Toons hadn't gotten up yet. Surprisingly, unlike most other Toons, he isn't more grumpy when he is up late, he is actually LESS grumpy at that time, and doesn't yell, probably from being too tired.

Anyways, Shrimpo was currently cooking himself breakfast, that being some eggs and bacon, being as silent as he can while the other Toons were still asleep.

However...one certain Toon wasn't asleep...Toodles, the by far youngest Toon in Gardenview.

"Hey, Shrimpo!"

Toodles's voice suddenly called out, causing Shrimpo to flinch in surprise, pausing his cooking, before looking over at Toodles.

"What is it, Toodles?"

Shrimpo said, not yelling like he usually does, and instead, just speaking in a monotone voice. Toodles however, was anything BUT monotone.

"Can I tell you a joke?"

Toodles asked excitedly, as Shrimpo let out a sigh.

"No you cannot tell me a joke-"

Shrimpo was cut off by Toodles begging him to let her say her question, which eventually, Shrimpo cut her off.

"If the joke isn't funny, I'm hitting you in the head with the pan."

Shrimpo said, pointing at the pan he was using to cook breakfast, as Toodles let out a "Deal!"

"Go."

Shrimpo said, letting Toodles say the joke.

"Why is "dark" spelled with a "k" and not a "c"?"

Toodles asked Shrimpo, starting the joke.

"Why?"

Shrimpo said, letting Toodles finish the joke.

"Because you can't C (see) in the dark! Get it?"

Toodles said, as Shrimpo looked over at her, a deadpanned expression on his face as he stares down at her, contemplating if he should hit her with the pan or decide against it...
