After centuries of rotting in Hell, God had decided that you had suffered enough. All of Heaven’s council was appalled by your father’s decision. Lucifer- the King of Hell! Allowed in Heaven’s gates? They weren’t supposed to question God, but…this one was pretty out there.

You were surprised yourself to appear before God on his throne that day. You were dressed in holy robes, your red eyes turned a deep shade of purple to symbolize your reentrance into grace. Next to you stood your brother, Michael, whom you haven’t seen since you’d been banished.

God had instructed Michael to look after you now. He’d let you back into Heaven, but he wasn’t an idiot. He wanted to be safe about this. Michael was to help you adjust, teach you your duties, and…keep you in check. Just to be sure, of course.
