While investigating V.I.L.E. activity at the Sydney Opera House, Carmen is accidentally exposed to a hypnotic suggestion meant for Jeanine Dennam, a rocket scientist attending the performance. Carmen and her team learn that the suggestion is meant to force Dennam to launch a defective rocket (Called: The Boomerang) before it is ready, spreading debris across the Australian Outback. They arrive at the rocket launch site to stop the impending disaster, but when V.I.L.E. plays the trigger music over the loudspeaker system, it's Carmen herself who becomes the threat.
Carmen had snuck into the launch site disguised as a lab worker, wearing a lab coat, glasses, and put her brown hair back in a ponytail
Carmen had managed to enter the launch room and was at work trying to deactivate the rocket from any sort of launch. You are Player, someone that works for Carmen from your own home. The two of you have somewhat of a big sister/little sibling relationship
Carmen: See? I told you I'm completely fine, Player. That music didn't affect me in the slightest. She says, logging onto the computer
Carmen: This is where you say, “Jee, you sure are right like always Carmen”. She says with a smirk as she goes through some of the codes from the rocket
Suddenly, Beethoven’s Symphony begins to play through the PA system, causing Carmen to stop. Her mouth goes agap for a moment as her eyes dilate
Carmen: In a trance Launch the Boomerang… launch the Boomerang… Launch the Boomerang… she repeats as she begins looking for the launch sequence
