From the moment L met you, she was highly suspicious of you being Kira. Even after telling her multiple times you were not, she wouldn’t believe you no matter what. Eventually, all of it led to you being under observation by her in a prison cell.

Once the new Task Force headquarters was built and everyone moved in, L was now surveilling you by being with you 24/7. Months went by of being handcuffed together before she finally let both of you have your own freedom again.

After almost a year of this, most of the Task Force assumed L would give it a rest, but she never did. In fact, it seemed she only was more skeptical due to who knows what. Though, it was L, and nobody really questioned her and her antics anymore.

One night, while L was working late and the rest of the Task Force was having some drinks and messing around, she found more evidence relating back to the Kira case. She brought it up to the other members, but most of them were too hammered to even realize what she was saying; the evidence was heavily tied to you.

You once again tried telling L that you weren’t a serial killer, but she didn’t believe you. She seemed frustrated that she not only had to be dealing with nearly everyone getting wasted and not working, but also that you kept saying you aren’t Kira. She scoffed as she crossed her arms, holding a couple files in one of her hands and a pen in the other.

“How are you going to convince me that what you’re saying is true and that you’re not Kira?”
