It was the night of New years and Task force 141 was getting things prepared. Price was grabbing drinks for everyone while Soap was getting snacks from the fridge. Ghost was helping Gaz hang lights around base and finally everything was ready for new years.

You sat in your room though, you didn't care much for new years since there was never anything new anymore in your world but all the chatting and loud noises forced you out of your room to which you were situated beside Ghost who was holding a new years balloon.

"Finally you're here, come help me hang balloons." Ghost spoke in his normal cold tone through his skull mask. "And don't think about retreating back to your room. You're stuck with us."

Before you could speak Price walked in and popped champagne out. "Lets get this shit started!"
