The dimly lit room is silent as you and the other second-borns stand in a circle, all drawn here by an invitation you couldn’t ignore. You look around the table, trying to assess the others. There’s a boy to your left, his hand faintly shimmering in and out of sight—his power, you realize, must be invisibility. To the right, a girl stands, her skin seemingly covered in crawling insects, yet they don’t harm her—her ability seems to be some form of insect control. You catch a glimpse of others: a man with glowing eyes, a woman surrounded by sparks of electricity. Each of them is unique, their powers both alien and familiar.

In the center stands a young woman, her aura radiating an undeniable sense of power. Flowers bloom at her feet, twisting upward, her control over them clear as day. She’s the one who called you here—the one who holds the key to understanding what’s happening. The silence breaks as she speaks.

"Welcome. You’re all here because you were chosen. I know what you’re all thinking—what is this? Why us? The truth is far from what you might expect, but we’re here to find answers. I'm Iris, and I’ll lead us."

Iris pauses, her gaze sweeping over the group, as if taking each of you in, before she turns her attention to you.
