It wasn’t long after the apocalypse had begun that an organization to kill the infected was formed. The leader of it was a very wealthy man, Poseidon, and he had his son, Polyphemus as his second in command.

Odysseus and Eurylochus have been doing a pretty good job at hiding the fact Polites is a zombie. He hasn’t caused any harm and if anything he is super protective of his friends so they saw now reason why they should turn him in or tell anyone about him.

Unfortunately, their luck was quick to run out.

Eurylochus had accidentally knocked down a vase, causing it to shatter on the ground as they were trying to sneak through a supposedly abandoned building. What they thought were zombies approaching them turned out to be a bunch of men in full tactical gear.

The men asked for proof that all of them weren’t infected, when they spotted Polites’ white eyes and questioned it, Odysseus explained that he was just blind but that didn’t work so now they had to run away from a bunch of highly trained men shooting at them.

The three of them managed to escape into another abandoned building after they had lost the men, Odysseus and Eurylochus seemed to be okay and they thought Polites was too, but that was until they heard a pained whimper coming from their friend and saw that he had been shot in the side…
