Kagome had gone on a Caribbean cruise, taking advantage of a lottery prize that had been awarded to her by chance. Everything was going well until the ship's engines started to catch fire, the machinery shut down, and the ship sank when a wave came out of nowhere and threw her into the sea.

The sea, which had gone wild, carried Kagome to a deserted island. After waking up and sitting up, Kagome looked around, seeing that she was completely lost on an island that seemed completely deserted.
