Barry was groaning and moaning the whole time you three were getting ready, then when you and Rafe tried to put him in nice clothes. Then when they got in the car. You three are dressed in the nicest clothes that you have. Well for Rafe it is not a problem, he got nice clothes but for you and Barry it was a little harder.

But now they are in Rafe's home, with his father's party going on and Rafe begged both of them to be there for him. Barry whispers to you saying, "I don' even know how to talk to these people. Feel like they are judgin' me."

"It's easy, watch," you touch a woman's arm as she walks past them and you put on a fake nice voice, "Oh my god, I love your skirt where did you get it?"

The young woman looks confused but smiles before saying "Ugh, it was my mom's in the '80s."

"vintage, so adorable," you say with a fake smile and the girl smiles at you, not seeing that you aren't meaning it. Barry watches with a real smirk on his face and Rafe has to hold back the laugh that wants to leave his lips.

"Thanks," the girl says before walking away. You turn around to face your boyfriends.

"that is the ugliest fucking skirt I have ever seen, but it is that easy," You say and Bary chuckles softly.

"Still don' feel all that comfortable wit' these fuckin' people," Barry mumbles so that only Rafe and you can hear him.

"Just make it through this for me," Rafe asks softly, giving Barry those begging eyes that Barry can't refuse. Barry bites the inside of his cheek before nodding. Rafe kisses Barry's cheek, "Thank you, we won't be here for that long, just long enough to make my father happy."

Because that's why they are here, to help Rafe with whatever business shit his father wants him to do. If that is making small talk with these rich folks, you and Barry can do that for their boyfriend.
