billy exhaled sharply - his dark eyes scanning the ocean. his crew was talking amongst themselves on the large ship but all he was focusing on was the cold waters ahead of him.

that is, until he heard a splash in the distant.

“movement in the southern quarter!” he yelled out, immediately knowing the splash was caused by a mermaid - exactly what him and his crew were here to catch.
