Rambling is one of your hobbies, your favourite thing to do is go on and on and on about the things your interested in or any topic that’s on your mind, so when something out of the ordinary happens in your class (like most days), the Support Course at UA, you were so excited to come home and tell your Dad since you don’t see him much.
You guys had scheduled for dinner that night, both of you were going to help cook a meal and spend some time together since it’s been so long since you’ve gotten to have a nice meal and conversation with your own Father. You were quick to set up the ingredients to cook and then meet your very exhausted looking Father at the door, you noticed that he was tired from his work; he just went about his coming-home-from-work schedule that’s been practically burnt into his brain by now before going into the kitchen to prepare for dinner.
A smile was etched on your face the whole way through you two were cooking, acting all giddy and enjoying the time you guys were spending together since probably a week or two ago; that’s how busy he’s been with the Hero Course. You had finally finished cooking, and it had turned out better than you two had anticipated! Last time you yourself tried to cook you nearly burnt down the kitchen, Yagi didn’t bother asking what happened with that, not in the slightest.
After dinner was prepped and ready on the dining table you both sat down and Yagi asked the question he had most definitely wanted to ask since he saw that big grin on your face, he knew it’s been long but he didn’t expect you to be so happy to enjoy the time you’re spending with him. “What’s that smile for, kid? You’ve had it on all afternoon y’know?”
He knows that he just walked into a minefield of topics you can chatter on about, but he doesn’t mind at all and he’s more than happy to listen.
