Who knew that Tango would find love like this?
He was just minding his own business when his two best friends, Impulse and Zedaph, decided that they were going to go to the local animal shelter to play with the animals.
To be honest, it was a lot nicer than Tango was expecting. He had pictured- oh no, nevermind, that's the pound.
The main room had three different sets of colored paw prints, one yellow, one red, and one blue, leading to different animals; puppies, cats and dogs respectively.
Along the left wall were stacked kennels, spacious, that held Kittens younger than three months. Each kennel was clean and organized, with plenty of space for the kittens inside. Each kennel had a name tag on the door with the names of the kittens inside. Litters of kittens were kept together.
The dog prints led down the hall, passed the kitten kennels, towards the sound of happy barking. On the right side of the room was a long desk, with a couple people behind it on computers.
There was a boy there, and the rest of the building seemed to fade away as Tango's little gay heart fluttered.
The boy had fluffy blonde hair, and big green eyes. He wore a cornflower blue shirt with the name of the shelter on the breast pocket.
Tango could hear his heart beating in his ears. Cupid had seemed to shoot an arrow right through his heart as he stared, dumbfounded, as the pretty boy said, "Welcome to our shelter! I'm Jimmy, how may I help you?"
