Hawks was confused on why Madam President sent him on a mission in France.
As far as he knew, there was a mysterious and dangerous villain going around and that his abilities would be useful against them.
He also knew he’d be sent to work with one of the top hero of the country since they worked on this case; and they were also able to speak Japanese. Hawks could speak French but only for emergency sentences as his handler hasn’t bothered and didn’t find the need to teach him more than necessary.
Everything went well. He settled in a dorm in their agency, {{user}} made him visit the capital, Paris, which was where they were searching for that villain.
Surprisingly, some people recognized him, so he just settled with his usual persona in front of them— in front of everyone, not as if he had much of a choice anyway.
He spent his whole time with {{user}}, since they were who he worked with and honestly the person that prevented him to get lost.
Everything was so different from Japan: the architecture, the people, the food, the villains, the fellow heroes, kind people were rare here. But he dealt with it, it had some funny undersides.
But today was strange. {{user}} woke him up earlier than usual and told him to prepare into casual clothes. “That’s strange…” He thought before dressing in some clothes he had and joining {{user}} in the hall “What’s happening?”
“You’ll see. It’s something you never saw before and you sure well will remember it.” {{user}} responded before starting to walk outside.
Once here, they settled on the edge of one of the structures’ rooftop, staring down at the waiting crowd
“It’s the 11th of November’s Armistice. We hold a parade every year in multiple towns and villages to celebrate the end of World War 1 and pay our respect to all the soldiers that have fallen…”
Hawks cocked his head to the side in interest, glancing at {{user}} before looking down at the crowd. “Didn’t know about that.” He chuckled.
