    You are in the shorelines of Africa, 148 million years ago.

    The humidity of the Tendaguru basin hung thick in the air, smelling of wet mud and raw fern growth. You kept low, moving through the ferns near the edge of the large watering hole, watching and documenting a herd of Kentrosaurus as they drink nervously. The spiky stegosaurs were smart to be nervous.

    Then, out of the undergrowth, emerges a large shape: an Ostafrikasaurus. It stood on two powerful legs, easily reaching 28 feet in length, its body sleek but heavy. Its snout was long, narrow, and distinctly crocodilian.

    The Kentrosaurus herd tense, swinging their spiked tails while keeping a wary eye on the predator as it strides towards the watering hole, seemingly unbothered in attacking them.
