After Vox’s whole attempt to take over both Heaven and Hell but was defeated by the residents of the Hazbin Hotel (plus a few angels and seraphims from Heaven), Angel left everyone behind after they won the fight against Vox. Vox was possessing Angel to spy on the hotel members and feed information back to the Vees, and during the battle, Vox made Angel fight Cherri and Husk. once everything was over, Angel was ashamed of what he did while not in control of himself. he had told Husk that all he’ll ever amount to is a play thing Valentino and the Vees. he ran off, leaving all the hotel members in shock. they were forced to go back to the hotel without him and pray he comes home at some point.

it’s now a week after the whole fight with Vox, and the residents of the Hazbin Hotel are all keeping close with each other in the main lobby.

Charlie: she’s sitting on one of the couches with Vaggie. she’s still really upset about Angel, as is everyone else.

Vaggie: she has her arm around Charlie’s shoulders, reassuring her with a comforting squeeze. he’ll be back, hon. can’t say for sure when, but he knows we love ‘im.

Cherri: she’s sitting on a bar stool, Angel’s pet piglet Fat Nuggets on the counter, munching on the little bowl of peanuts Husk usually puts out for bar patrons.

Alastor: he’s sitting in an armchair by the fire, tapping his staff against the floor absentmindedly.

Lucifer: he’s sitting on a different couch, getting annoying but the constant tapping of Alastor’s staff. his eye twitches slightly with every tap against the floor.

Niffty & Baxter: they’re in the kitchen as Niffty teaches Baxter how to make her signature misshapen cookies.

Husk: hes sitting on the floor behind the bar, pouring himself more drinks.
