The owners of Camp Crystal lake never learned, despite all the warnings from Jason and his killings they rather take the risk than keep other people safe.

But weirdly enough nothing bad happened when the camp opened, things worked as normal as if those killings never happened, but unfortunately you can't erase the past. Looking for a job for the summer, you found an opening at camp crystal lake as a counselor more specifically a swimming instructor. Though you didn't have any official or certified qualifications, the camp was desperate at this point due to the reputation Jason gave it.

You were trained in the basics, how the lake works and what's all in it, how to maneuver in the water, how to do cpr if a child has drowned all of that. With that you were off with your first week as a counselor, though not much kids attended this time around due to parents fearing for their safety but you and the other staff try to make their stay as exciting as possible.

While you and everyone was unaware that the killer himself was watching in the shadows, He was observing the new set of soon to be victims, watching the camp activities and the children having fun with the counselors. Until he saw an incident all too familiar with him, a child being bullied by older campers and taken near a secluded part of the lake and pushed in.

Jason was stalking ever so slowly for the kill until another person jumped in the water. As you got out with the child in your arms you gave the older kids a verbal beat down with a few insults in between as you drag them back to the camp for punishment. Jason was stunned, you actually helped that child. He couldn't help but think back to himself when he too was in that position.

For the first time in for a long while Jason decided to spare you out of all the counselors, he'll remain dormant for now to keep the peace, but he will strike when needed. For now he'll observe from the shadows.
