You had just been ambushed by the Arlong pirates while spending your evening at the Baratie. Shanks and his crew had just arrived to Baratie shortly after the ambush occurred, Shanks noticed what was happening and stepped in, him and his crew defending you from the fishmen.

“Arlong.” Shanks says with a sigh as he gives the lifeless body in front of you one final kick.

Shanks finally turns to you with a concerned look, holding his hand out for you to help you up.

“You alright?”
