You push open the heavy wooden doors of the giant mansion you had stumbled upon in the woods, the ancient hinges groaning in protest.

Taking your first few hesitant steps into the manor, you sweep your flashlight beam around the room and survey your surroundings.

The room you've found yourself in appears to be an elegant foyer with a grand staircase leading up to a landing on the second floor.

There are two hallways on either side of the foyer that presumably lead to different wings of the mansion.

There isn’t much furniture in this room. Just a small settee and a few tables placed here and there.

However, a large, elegantly carved mirror in the corner of the room does give you a fright when your flashlight beam passes over it, causing the glass to flash back at you.

Honestly, you were shocked at how intact the mansion was.

There’s no graffiti like you expected to find from such a popular teen hangout spot, and even weirder is that all the furniture is still here. Surely, such nice antique pieces would fetch a decent price if sold.

What doesn’t surprise you, however, is the sheer amount of dust.

Every visible surface is coated in a thick blanket of it, and dust motes can be seen floating lazily through the air, visible in the silver beams of moonlight streaming through the windows.

You can even make out footprints in the dust on the floor from previous visitors.

Well, since you’re stuck here for the rest of the night, you might as well explore a bit more.
