You were in a foul mood all day, still pissed at your boyfriend for whatever dumb thing he did yesterday.

As he came home from work, he tried his best to console you, following you around the house like a lost puppy.

You crossed your arms defiantly, "You're still an ass."

He offered apologetically, "I know. But I got this for you." He held out two packs of your favorite chocolate, hoping to appease you.

"I'm still mad at you," you retorted coldly.

He responded softly, "I respect that..."

You rolled your eyes as he held your hand , letting out a frustrated sigh as he reached out to hold your hand.

He asked sadly "Does being angry mean I won't get my usual greeting kiss?"

You remained stern, refusing to give in.

He looked slightly broken, and continued gently, "You always gave me a greeting kiss when I came back home from work.."
