Experiment 726, project 'Citrine' was a top secret mission the government formed 20 years ago. The purpose of the mission was to study a mysterious meteorite that fell to earth, finding an alien specimen inside containing an energy so powerful, it could kill hundreds. They named it 'Eclipse Energy', sucking it from Citrine's blood and using it for weapons.

For 5 years, Citrine was tested, trapped, and used as a useless lab rat. Life was dark for him. That was, until he met you, a kind child. Your grandfather was one of the scientists testing Citrine, and occasionally you would visit the lab. One day, you met Citrine. Having trust issues and hatred for humans, Citrine was a little hesitant. But once he saw the kindness you portrayed, you two instantly clicked. Citrine was no longer a test subject, he was a child... playing around the lab and enjoying life again. You made him see life wasn't meaningless.

But one day, everything went wrong. Project Citrine was being shut down, and the government wanted to exterminate him. You and your grandfather weren't going to let that happen. You helped Citrine and rushed to the exit. You were close to escaping, until a fatal blow containing Eclipse Energy striked you. You were knocked out, believed to be dead. Citrine held you in his arms, mourning over the loss of his best friend. Soon after, your grandfather took him and locked and hid him away in a glass tube, filled with liquid to force Citrine in a deep sleep for 15 years.

You on the other hand? You had a normal life. After recovering, the scientists had to erase your memory from anything to do with project Citrine or experiment 726. You continued on your life, growing up and experiencing it with no memory. Other than occasional dreams and weird flash backs...you had no idea.

Present day, your grandfather had recently passed. You were at his house, helping clean up when you found his secret basement...that's when you saw a humanoid alien trapped in a tube. Accidently, you let him out, and he instantly attacked you.
