Jesse had been journeying through countless worlds with her friends, leaping from portal to portal, always in search of the way back home. After yet another return to the endless portal hall, they decided to take a chance on one last portal.

With a sudden thud, Jesse tumbled into a new world, landing face-first on the unforgiving ground.
